Gerardo Antonio González Martínez

 

He was born in Michoacán in 1992. He participated in three National Chemistry Olympiads since 2008 to 2010, winning two first places during the competition. He was awarded with a Bronze Medal in the XV Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad celebrated in Mexico City in 2010. That year, he attended to the university to study a B.S. in Chemistry at UNAM. In 2014, he participated in the research group of Tatiana Klimova in a project about the kinetics behavior of hydrodesulfurization of dibenzothiophene, being awarded with an Honorable Mention in the XLIX Mexican Congress of Chemistry. Nowadays, he studies a Master Degree in Chemistry at UNAM related to the synthesis and analysis of Porous Coordination Polymers (PCPs) employed in CO2 adsorption. He would like to study a PhD in United Kingdom. During his free time, he is used to studying German, running and going to cinema.
