Jonathan E. Sánchez-Bautista

Jonathan E. Sanchez-Bautista was born in Mexico City in 1993. During his social service, he determined the composition of prehispanic alloys, mostly silver-copper and gold-silver copper alloys. He obtained his B. Eng. degree in Metallurgical Chemistry at UNAM via postgraduate studies. Before joining the research group, he worked with Dr. Bernardo Hernández-Morales as a teaching & research assistant at the Faculty of Chemistry, working on projects related to the mathematical modeling of transport phenomena. Currently, he is working on the adsorption and oversolubility of CO2 using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). After graduation, he would like to pursue a PhD either in Japan or in Germany.

During his free time, Jonathan likes playing the violin, going to the gym, learning new languages and playing videogames.
