Eva was born and raised in Mexico City. She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (2016) and her M. Sc. degree in Chemical Sciences (2018) at the Institute of Chemistry (UNAM), under supervision of Dr. Braulio Rodriguez. Currently, she is studying her Ph. D. with the group of Dr. Argel Ibarra in porous materials for SO₂ and H₂S capture.

In her free time, Eva enjoys walking her dogs, running, doing yoga and cooking with her partner.
