Tamara Jurado-Vázquez

Tamara Jurado-Vázquez was born in 1992 in México City. She carried out her social service in Environmental Engineering Laboratory in Engineering Institute, UNAM in 2014 working in analysis of wastewater and residual sludge, for the detection and quantification of emerging pollutants. She received her B.Sc. degree in chemistry from UNAM in 2015 with Prof. Juventino García.

She continued in the Prof. García’s group working in carbon dioxide activation and catalysis and in 2017 she obtained her M.Sc. degree with honors. In the same year, she joined the Dr. Ilich A. Ibarra group, to study her PhD, her interest research focus on CO2 and SO2 adsorption using Metal organic frameworks (MOFs).

In her free time Tamara enjoys reading, and watch T.V. series.
