Daniel Alvarado

Daniel was born in Toluca, state of Mexico in 1992. He achieved his B. Sc. degree in chemistry at UAM Iztapalapa (UAM-I) working with Dr. Annia Galano Jiménez on searching for efficient antioxidant compounds using density functional theory (DFT), this work was exhibited at XVI Reunión Mexicana de Fisicoquímica Teórica held in Puebla, Mexico in 2017. He also worked as a teaching assistant at UAM-I for subjects such as thermodynamics and structure of matter. Currently, he's working on adsoprtion of CO2 within porous coordination polymers (PCPs) at UNAM as part of his master’s studies.

In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, discovering new literature authors, learning about jazz and caribbean music, and hanging out with friends.
