Pamela was born in Mexico City in 1995. She attended José Vasconcelos high school from UNAM. In August 2014, she started studying Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The idea of studying chemical engineering was with the objective of working or researching in environmental-related topics.

After coming back of a 6 months exchange in The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, she joined the group at the end of 2018. She is currently working in her thesis project at IIM (Materials’ Research Institute), studying the adsorption of different organic vapours in MOF’s.

She currently trains board diving at UNAM, and in her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies and series. She would like to make a masters degree in materials abroad.
