Y. Rojas-Aguirre´s
Research Group.
Welcome to Y. Rojas-Aguirre´s Research Group
We are forming a multidisciplinary group comprised of chemists, physicists, biologists and engineers for pursuing an integral research program at the interface of materials sciences, synthetic chemistry, supramolecular recognition and biology.
We aim to investigate the relationship structure-function, at the level of molecular recognition and self-assembly, for the development of biomaterials, systems and devices with potential applications in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, as well as in nanomedicine, in particular, the drug delivery field.
We are also part of SupraMat Lab, a collaborative team in which we all combine our strengths to create innovative approaches, based on supramolecular principles, for the development of therapeutic strategies to treat diverse diseases.
Dr. Yareli Rojas-Aguirre received her BSc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry in 2005 from Chemistry School at The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
