We are pleased to announce the 1st Symposium and Summer School in Nanomedicine, Biomaterials and Bionanotechnology between University of Groningen (UG) and National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The joint symposium is scheduled on June 19-22, 2023. This event will take place at the Instituto de Investigaciones en Materiales, Instituto de Química and Facultad de Química in Ciudad Universitaria at Mexico City (see final Program).

The Symposium will offer a wide range of interesting topics on Nanomedicine, Biomaterials, Bionanotechnology and Medical Robotics with keynote speaker sessions. The Summer School will comprise keynote lectures of the same topics and is aimed to graduate students interested on this emergent and interdisciplinary field.

Nanomedicine, Biomaterials and Biotechnology are key subjects that are involved in the development of novel and powerful technologies that are shaping our world. They involve the manipulation of the matter at the nano and micro scale to build nanoparticles, nanofibers, photoactive nanomaterials and other systems with plenty applications in biotechnology and biomedical sciences such as delivery systems, scaffolds for tissue regeneration, immunotherapy, and antibacterial biomaterials.

We are sure the 1st Symposium and Summer School in Nanomedicine, Biomaterials and Bionanotechnology between University of Groningen-UNAM will provide you with memorable experiences from meeting prestigious professors leading cutting-edge research in this interdisciplinary and fascinating field.
